Moving people using dance, theatre and arts activities

Sam's dance and theatre projects amplify female voices and raise the representation of different aged women, using real-life stories from members of the communities she works with.

Sam asks important questions about ageing, feminism, equality, periods, menopause and most recently matrescence, to create intimate and humorous classes, workshops and performances. Through each project, Sam strives to build a sense of belonging and acceptance, using movement, writing and voice work, and inviting people to play and reconnect with their own bodies, and those around them. Sam often finds participants work with unfiltered expression and leave feeling refreshed and revitalised.

Sam makes shows, hosts conversations, leads and facilitates workshops, writes poetry and funding bids, mentors, consults and produces other artists projects.
